You are encouraged to support the mission of Christ Church of Peace both by your service and through your financial support. Please consider participating in our services — as a greeter, usher, reader, eucharistic assistant, Ministry Team Leader, etc. — and helping us to further our mission through your tithes, gifts, and offerings.
Members and friends of Christ Church of Peace find a warm and friendly place to call home. Through weekly ministry, social programs, discussion groups, special activities and community outreach, CCOP continues to make a difference in the lives of the people and the community it serves.
Donate Christ Church of Peace
Instead of passing an offering plate at Christ Church of Peace, offering boxes are placed near the sanctuary exits so that all tithes, gifts, and offerings are strictly between the giver and God. The ability to accept online donations extends that sense of privacy, confidentiality and convenience.
“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”–2 Corinthians 9:7
Christ Church of Peace is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization, which means that contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Please see your tax advisor for specific advice about taxes and deductions.
You can donate by mail by mailing a check payable to Christ Church of Peace to 1240 S. McDuff Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Or, you can give online.
Online Giving
Some people prefer the convenience of scheduling their tithes through the electronic “bill payer” function of their banks, so they don’t have to remember to bring a check with them to church. Working with most financial institutions, Christ Church of Peace can accept donations, securely, online.
Giving Back to the Community
Christ Church of Peace makes a point of supporting our community by tithing–giving ten percent of the offerings we receive–to such indispensable local organizations as JASMYN, PFLAG, and the church’s food pantry.
But that’s just a start.
